We celebrated our 4 year anniversary this past weekend! We had a wonderful time just being together. Colin surprised me with a night out in Brandon. It was actually really nice to just get away...even if only for one night. I LOVE having days set aside throughout the year to celebrate or be reminded of certain things...birthdays, anniversaries...I hope I never take those days for granted.
And Thanksgiving...another day set aside for me to be reminded of how thankful I should truly be. And this year, above most, I find myself more and more grateful. It may be because our anniversary fell on the same long weekend as thanksgiving, but for some reason this year I feel way more thankful for Colin! :) Obviously, I'm thankful for him everyday, but as I reflected on this past year together I have realized how I've depended on him for a friendship that I am SO THANKFUL for...
My list of thanksgiving can seriously be pages long...Praise God for all His goodness, mercy and grace!
