This weekend the men were busy tearing down our old shop in anticipation of a new one coming. We had our dream shop designed in June and we're still trying to figure out how we can get it in our back yard! I guess the first step is making room for it. We'll just wait and see if everything else falls into place for it.
(If any one's planning on building a shop/garage and wants this roof just let us know in the next week before we finish the tear down.)
Other than that we had a great weekend. It was Rod's birthday Friday so we hung out with the Brauns which was great (and a really late night!:)) Saturday was the backyard day and I took some family shots for my aunty and uncle which was fun. Colin, Kristy and I also went to see "Cars" which is a funny movie, highly recommended for adults and kids. (and another midnight night) OH! Crazy story. Saturday night, well actually Sunday morning at 3:30am, our doorbell rings. So Colin gets up to answer it and it's some guy who says his truck broke down or ran out of gas and he asks to use the phone. (He obviously had too much to drink) He calls someone but they refuse to pick him up! So Colin offers to drive him to the town of Birds Hill so that he can get a taxi from there. Of course I can't fall back asleep until Colin gets home which was 4:30am! Colin never saw a truck (or car for that matter) on the side of the hwy. Crazy eh?
We also started our fist day of Badminton yesterday! 3 intense hours and we can barely move today! I would hate to imagine how we'd feel if we hadn't started working out every day for the past month! I can't believe we're this sore! But we're excited for this season to start up again. It's so fun to play. :)

colin is a great man. if i'm ever drunk stumbling down the highway i hope it is near the doerksen's house.
