This is kinda old news, but we were just downloading our pictures and came across this one. Colin came home from work one night last week and I was just rubbing his back asking how his day was, the next thing you know I'm yelling and am in so much pain. A wasp stinger was stuck in Colin's shirt and it stung me! It hurt SO bad and I had a nasty reaction to it. I ended up going to the hospital a couple days later because the swelling was just getting worse and worse. I was scared it wouldn't be better for my wedding this past weekend...but thankfully it was and I was able to hold my camera! I was "out of commission" for a couple days, though. :(

Aww! That sucks. I got stung too, at work during our Summer Wrap up. It hurts!!
I felt like such a baby, but I had a huge reaction too. All the kids were taking care of me...lol.
Hope it's all better now.

its just like colin to escape from this incident unscathed!
i should talk. i've never been stung. when i see a wasp or a bee i drop all my valuables and run for the hills hollering "mercy", "uncle", or "neverrrrrrrrrr!"

Good thing you're not in Winnipeg anymore then...you'd be running for a long time. There's a wasp "epidemic" this summer! My dad just got stung inside his bottom lip! I'm definately more scared of them now that I've seen and felt what they can do to me. (And I thought the same thing about Colin...the nerve of him bringing it to me to be harmed!! :))
